Gergő munkafolyamatának és kutatásának témája a sematikus topográfiai formák monokróm megjelenítése és hangjegyekké redukálása. Az általa kifejlesztett rendszer fő célja, hogy ezeket a vizuális és konceptuális hangjegyeket drónzenévé alakítsa. A monokróm festmények és a drónzene is a minimális változásokra összpontosít; a mintázat és a struktúra apró változásaira koncentrál, mind vizuálisan, mind a mikrohangzás szempontjából. Gergő színmezőkkel és hosszú ideig tartó drónkompozíciókkal dolgozik.
