JIWA

Jiwa is a technologist and artist from the United States who currently resides in Berlin. With a background in coding for Hollywood and a passion for exploring the possibilities of generative art, jiwa is breaking new ground in the field. He is an early adopter of blockchain and crypto technology, having participated as early as 2012. Since 2018, Jiwa has been creatively coding and has launched several generative art projects on platforms such as ntent.art, OBJKT, and fxhash. His work aims to transform how we view, interact with, and conceptualize generative art.

Jiwa’s video focuses on synaptic reprogramming, which enables the prefrontal cortex to change our predispositions through conscious attention and new experiences. Artists have a significant role in shaping perceptions and beliefs by presenting alternative perspectives. Jiwa highlights the power of the human brain to adapt and evolve through a constantly mutating abstract landscape.
